We suppose you already have media files in your Silverstack library.

Pomfort provides a lot of documentations on line. If you need help to work with Silverstack, we recommend you to visit their detailed website.

Essential metadata to make Dailycious work

We are working on the display of all metadata but there are some that make Dailycious work at its best.

Essential metadata

We recommend to fill the metadata as precisely as you can. The database deployment depends on this.

Exporting the XML file

In Silverstack, select the bin you would like to appear in your Dailycious Library and export the Pomfort XML Metadata from the "export" menu, or from the File > Export > Pomfort XML Metadata.

option 1 : Export menu

option 1 : Export menu

option 2 : File > Export > Pomfort XML Metadata

option 2 : File > Export > Pomfort XML Metadata

Then browse into your drive to find and select the project folder you chose when creating your project. When saving, Dailycious watch-folder will detect that there are a new XML in the folder and parse the metadata.

<aside> 💡 Be aware that some special characters and symbols can prevent Dailycious metadata parser from correctly working. We would recommend you an extra care about special characters such as "<", ">" or "/".

</aside>

Once your XML is saved, Dailycious should display empty videos as below :

Now we are missing the video files. To learn how to add the video files, please read the export files section.

If you already copied the media files onto the project folder, Dailycious should immediately link the metadata to the video files and create the thumbnails. All the dailies should now be playable.
