Dailycious connects dailies to the shooting metadata for a smooth and efficient dailies playback!
When copying, provided that the metadata is correctly filled in, it is necessary to export an XML or an ALE. This file containing all the metadata from the native media comes to feed the Dailycious database as soon as it is copied in the Dailycious project folder.
The h264 files transcoded in your main rendering software (DaVinci Resolve, Daylight, Colorfront ExpressDailies, ... ) and placed in the project folder are immediately associated to the metadata and accessible from the Player.
Dailycious can be managed by a DIT, a Data Manager, an assistant Editor or from the digital lab.
