Eventually the DP would like a colder version of a specific scene or the director has changed his mind the day after and would like to circle a take which was not. No worries! It's possible and easy to solve!
To modify a file, you just need to re-exported the corrected video file in your dailies software (Silverstack Lab, DaVinci Resolve or Daylight etc.) and replace the previous file in Dailycious project folder. The only thing you need to care is filenaming : remember the new filename needs to remain identical to the one it replaces.
Dailycious watch-folder will detect a new file and update the database according to latest file.
Iterate each time you need to update the metadata.
To modify a metadata, you just need to change the metadata in your media management software (Silverstack or Daylight) and export the XML file again.
